Edited Book on Entrepreneurship Education at European Universities with Springer

Based on our European Commission project “supporting the entrepreneurial potential of higher education” (sepHE) the UNESCO Chair of Entrepreneurship and Intercultural Management and iENTIRE will publish an edited volume in Springer’s “International Studies in Entrepreneurship Series". The book will feature entrepreneurship education at twenty European universities with regard to their curricular and extra-curricular course offers, the institutional environment for entrepreneurship education, and collaboration with external stakeholders in teaching entrepreneurship. Prof. David Audretsch and Prof. Christine Volkmann will be the editors of the volume.

sepHE - „supporting the entrepreneurial potential of higher education“

EU Project “Supporting the entrepreneurial potential of higher education”

Together with empirica GmbH (Bonn, Germany) iENTIRE is carrying out the project “supporting the entrepreneurial potential of higher education” (sepHE) on behalf of the European Commission. Within sepHE twenty case studies on entrepreneurship education at European higher education institutions have been conducted. The study is responding to the need to develop a stronger evidence base of the entrepreneurial potential of higher education and to derive lessons for policy development. The study team focuses on activities which have a particular impact on the education of students, including both curricular and extracurricular offers as well as the institutional dimension of entrepreneurship in higher education. The study contributes to gaining a better understanding of universities’ opportunities to develop entrepreneurial activities and skills (for more information on sepHE see www.sephe.eu).
